Two mirrored departures, same route in both directions.
Departure I — Northbound: June 19 to July 2 (Seattle → Anchorage), with the midnight sun of the solstice in Prudhoe Bay. Departure II — Southbound: July 6 to 19 (Anchorage → Seattle). 14 days each.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a visa?
Yes, two tourist visas: US (B1/B2) and Canadian. For the land crossing, the eTA doesn’t count — you need an actual Canadian tourist visa in your passport. UpSerra guides you through both processes.
Is the Dalton Highway very difficult?
About 1,600 km of gravel round trip, generally well maintained, ridden in planned stages with a support vehicle and UpSerra guide — but it can get quite tough in snow or rain. It requires riding experience, not extreme off-road experience.
Which bike will I ride?
An adventure-category BMW, prepared for the route, with rental included in the package.
What’s the weather like?
June and July are Arctic summer: midnight sun, mild temperatures inland and cold in the far north. The briefing includes the full gear list.
